An impressive, solid bridge that can take the load of 180,000 cars!

The structure of the bridge comprises of gigantic 120m-tall concrete pylons, as well as a 805m-long deck, making it the most massive cable-stay bridge in Australia. The impressive structure is necessary in order to create a solid foundation to support its maximum load of 180,000 cars per day! Additionally, the bridge consists of 8 road lanes as well as a pedestrian path/bikeway at its northern side. The pathway allows for a nice leisurely stroll on a beautiful day, and it will take you about half an hour if you do a round trip from Glebe Point Road.

Tips Before You Go
If you plan on visiting, just make sure to pay close attention to your surroundings, especially if you\'re taking pictures. The pedestirian walkway is shared with cyclists, so always keep a lookout for oncoming bicycles. Furthermore, while the bridge itself is magnificent in the day, it becomes even more spectacular at night when it is all lit up.
