The awe-inspiring 9/11 Fallen Heroes Memorial stands in the middle of Ybor City. Unveiled on the 13th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, the memorial commemorates the bravery and self-sacrifice of the heroes who gave their lives helping the victims of the attack.

The memorial depicts two firefighters and a policeman fearlessly rushing to the aid of a shaken civilian. A metal beam looms behind them – salvaged from the World Trade Towers after the incident. The masterful sculpture depicts the scene in harrowing detail, all down to the deliberate ash-covered appearance of the statues.
