Shaab Sataya, otherwise known as Dolphin Reef, is situated at the southeastern sector of the Fury Shoal diving site off Marsa Alam area. This horseshoe-shaped reef is named after the friendly dolphins that can be spotted quite frequently within the reef. They tend to get up close and personal with divers and snorkelers who come to visit, making this the perfect destination for those looking to experience a frolicking good time with these underwater mammals. Dive deeper and you will be treated to the sight of all kinds of colourful fishes, ranging from whitetips to fusiliers, Spanish dancers and parrotfish. Thankfully, you don’t have to go too deep to find them either, as they can be found just 40 metres underwater. The clear blue waters make this a welcome respite from the hot sun, and the best part is that it is conveniently accessible too.
