Chidorigafuchi Park (千鳥ヶ淵公園)

An amazing place to see cherry blossoms.

The moat situated northwest from the Imperial Palace is known as Chidorigafuchi Park, and it is an absolute unmissable hotspot - especially during the cherry blossom season. With cherry trees lining the moat and the pedestrian path leading to it, in Spring, this area magically flourishes into a pink haven of stunning Japanese sakura. When you visit, be sure to make your way to the boathouse and rent a boat for a serene and scenic paddle along the moat. Surrounded by the gorgeous cherry blossoms, falling all around you and into the water as gusts of wind blow, you will feel like you have been transported into a picture-perfect fairytale. Don’t miss out on this hotspot, and be sure to pack a picnic and a mat to have a Hanami party in true Japanese fashion.
