Host to the Campeonato Argentine Arbierto de Polo (the Argentine Polo Open Championship), the most important international championship at the club level, the Campo Argentino de Polo is a multi-purpose stadium in Buenos Aires. Inaugurated in 1928, the grounds are both modern and known for the comfort provided for spectators.

Turf action heats up especially starting from late October, and finals happen in December. The chances of getting your hands on those tickets are as good as finding a gold bar in your pocket - testament to how popular the sport is. If you have no idea (or interest in) what a polo game is like, catching one at this stadium is sure to blow you away, and reshape your perceptions of the sport! If you imagine well-off people on their (literal) high horses occasionally flicking the mallet at the ball, imagine again - the games are a thrill to watch, and players are constantly at a gallop, maneuvering their rides. The atmosphere amongst the crowd is equally fantastic, and you will definitely come out all the more educated about the sport or scrabbling to learn its rules.

Tips Before You Go
Do check out if there are games on when you’re around, and bring a hat and shades, as you will be out in the sun for a while.
