Bijbels Museum

See your favourite Bible stories come to life in the Bijbels Museum.

The Bijbels Museum brings the Bible to life. Its impressive collection of religious artefacts is dedicated to Christian and Jewish history. The ancient Christian world is revived in the museum, with models of what Herod’s Temple and Solomon’s Temple would have looked like, including one of a Jewish Tabernacle.

Beautiful paintings, illustrations and old Bibles featuring silver covers and clasps recount the history of Christianity and explain the tremendous influence the Christian faith has had on world history and current society. History fans will be fascinated by the oldest Bible printed in the Netherlands, which dates back to 1477, as well as a facsimile of the Dead Sea scroll.
