Centre Georges Pompidou

Warhol, Picasso and Matisse, all under one roof.

When in Paris, the Centre Georges Pompidou is the ideal spot for the Renaissance man (or woman). This unique building stands out because of its escalators on the outside and the exposed giant coloured tubing. However, it is more famous for what is on the inside – the National Museum of Modern Art.

This museum is renowned for its extensive collection of 20th and 21st-century art. With work from distinguished artists of the modern period such as Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, as well as more contemporary geniuses such as Andy Warhol, your soul will stir at the masterpieces before you. Once you get enough of the art inside, make your way to the top floor, where a view of Paris’ most famous monuments, like the Eiffel Tower and the Sacré Coeur await.
