Bali Elephant Camp

A unique elephant trek experience.

Situated within the deep recesses of North Ubud in the region known as Taro, the Bali Elephant Camp provides visitors with the unique opportunity to experience an authentic elephant trek experience in the throes of nature. To get to the starting point for the 30 to 40-minute long trek, visitors enjoy a scenic drive along spectacular vistas of rice paddies, quaint Balinese villages, ornate temples, and busy local markets, before being duly rewarded with a refreshing drink at the onsite café upon arrival.

Highlights of the Bali Elephant Camp include the mischievous morning (or afternoon) bath that the elephants engage in before the trek, and of course, the much-anticipated trek itself. Atop the mammoth creature’s back, visitors get amazing views of the gorgeous surroundings, and several stunning photo opportunities – be sure to bring your camera to document this unique animal trek experience!
