London, England
10 Downing Street

Perhaps the most important British Political building.

The British Bulldog Winston Churchill and Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher have more in common than the fact that they were both British Prime Ministers. They, amongst other PMs, have lived in the same abode during their respective tenures, behind the prestigious black door of 10 Downing Street. Decisions about world wars, economic recessions, and even nuclear weapons were just some of the life-altering choices made within these walls. Built over 300 years ago in the Georgian architectural style, the interior holds about 100 rooms. Although tourists are not permitted within the estate, it is still worth the visit to see the structure and ponder how the course of life for many has been determined by those minds inside.
